Globe Telecom shortchanges subscribers

 GLOBE SHORTCHANGES SUBSCRIBERS, LONE SUBCONTRACTOR

The "screen grab" below is the 8th apology yours truly received from Globe Telecom this afternoon after breaking its 8th promise done through text messaging of dispatching a crew of technicians to my place.

Globe services continue to deteriorate, outcome of its greed for super-profits.
That same greed pushed it to fire seasoned employees and replace them with contractuals, an attack against labor.

That same greed prompted it to whittle its four branches in Iloilo with paying machines on top of human tellers receiving payments, down to only one which is both an attack on labor and subscribers making it harder for the latter to pay their bills and complain.

Before, we subscribers, found it easier to communicate our concerns because people getting our calls or waiting at windows, are human beings and experienced employees.

Today, the other end of the line getting calls are robots who ask you to wait as they refer your calls to another robot, and more robots, etc.

When a real human answers you at the other end of the line, you are just given assurances and promises which are meant to be broken because Globe has only call center agents to answer calls who know how to entertain but as powerless, if not worse than robots, to fix your broken connection.

One final reason for Globe's crisis of customer service is: it has no crew of technicians of its own.

The one doing the job is a lone subcontractor who has valid reason to ignore endorsements of Globe's bots and call center agents.

The subcontracting crew is also as outraged as Globe's subscribers for feeling shortchanged by Globe.
