Twisting history

The dramatis personae of the so-called Cry of Santa Barbara were actually Voluntarios, a pro-Spanosh militia dispatched to Luzon to join the Guardia Civil quell the Revolution in 1897 led by Andres Bonifacio in Manila. They staged the Cry of Santa Barbara on Nov. 17, 1898, seven months after the Guardia Civil was crushed and the last Governor General had fled to, of all places, Iloilo City where he was protected by Ilonggo elite, the same caboodle who had raised funds to train, arm and dispatch a batallion of Voluntarios to Manila. That earned Iloilo the Spanish royal moniker La Muy Noble y Leal Ciudad de Iloilo. No, the Voluntarios which later renamed itself Ejercito Popular, including its supposed titular head with the rank of general, was a bunch of bogus heroes, charlatans in fact if not opportunists and traitors. I copied-pasted here the link to the docu which prompted me to scribble the reaction above. https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1b7hcCBJvY/

What's happening to the Iloilo Provincial Employees and Community Multi-Purpose Cooperative

The Iloilo Provincial Employees and Community Multi-Purpose Cooperative, Inc. is one cooperative that beffles at least yours truly if not somebody else. The contact points, the lines of communications it offers the public to reach it, namely the two emails and two phone numbers are not working. It makes one wonder why <ipempc@yahoo.com> and <ipempc@gmail.com> and the lines (033) 332-6703 and 09177025755 -- all of which it personnel gave out to members yestrerday during the general assembly held at X-ing Hotel, Iloilo City are not working. Sorry for this repetition, I dialed four times as of this writing (033) 332-6703 and 09177025744 and all that yours truly got were rings, rings, rings, rings ad infinitum until my CP stopped dialing. I attempted twice more and all I got were unanswered rings. Same for its two email addresses <ipempc@yahoo.com> and <ipempc@gmail.com>: my two emails one to each yesterday and another round today, were unanswered. My emails did not...

Datu Saripada Agwak, successor Rise-Rise puppets of mallification in Yrong-Yrong

"Bolanteros", the Visayan for ttransient or temporary vendors who once added life to the brisk commerce at the Super and Central markets, are gone now as result of "mallification". Yrong-Yrong City and majority of its "honorables" just love SM Prime Holdings at the expense of the vendors. These subsistence entrepreneurs are self-sufficient and add revenues to the local government which traits are eroded by "mallification", that is, the city government, having volunteered as water boy, executive assistant, alalay, tong collector of SM Prime Holdings, owner of chains of malls nationwide which the regime of Datu Saripada Agwak have gifted, yes gifted", de facto full ownership and control of Yrong-Yrong's two prime real estate assets totaling 3 ha. + for at least 50 years. During these 50 years, SM gets all the collections from rents, fees on delivery trucks and parking vehicles of market goers. During 50 years, SM pays no rent, that is, ...
