Oath taking of 2 LP councilors in Miag-ao and Tubungan, both in Iloilo

I rarely enter the office of the Iloilo governor but last September 6, 2012, I had to because a friend Atty. Carmelo Nucheta, was to take his oath of office as councilor of Miag-ao town, Iloilo, replacing fellow LP, Atty. Raul Facon who was appointed MTC judge.
His oath taking coincided with that of another party mate, Hannah Marie Talledo, who replaces her father, former mayor Gorgonio Talledo who passed away. Succession to the vacancy in the sanggunian bayan is filled by appointment based on the endorsement by the party where the predecessor belonged.
There was an ongoing press briefing inside the governor’s office prior to the oath taking before Gov. Arthur D. Defensor, Sr.
