Datu Sarip Agwak hurts his own people

Insanity has overtaken Datu Sarip Agwak.

He tinkered with the old traffic route in Yrong-Yrong, devised a new one sans public consultation, not even with his own wife Rosalie, children and drivers, that led to the current quagmire he plunged his city in.

The only group praising him now is the Yrong-Yrong Business Club, his rah-rah boys who are also behind yet another organization the Yrong-Yrong Durudagyang Foundation, actually, a bunch of riffraffs who till this date has yet to liquidate the donations delivered by his own city and that of the Kingdom by the River now led by Toto who’s been giving P500,000 to 1M every dagyang since Toto’s Senior took the provincial helm in 1992.

“A necessary sacrifice,” explains this rah-rah band who has yet to explain how they came to that conclusion. All of its membership are not part of the commuting public. They’re not public commuters.

Datu Sarip’s Agwak’s local public transport route plan (LPTRP) solved everything except make public transport convenient and efficient, that is, safe, comfortable and cheap, for every commuter.

What it has achieved so far is to make Andrewtan’s MegeIk-ik and Ayala’s Pestibwok and all their tenants happy, happier and happiest — what with their cash registers busier with gross daily earnings rachetting beyond 400 percent daily.

Andrewtan’s Mega-Ik-ik and Pestibwok are now virtual terminal, hub of all nine city routes after the animal called LPTRP was enforced June 12. No sweat: just pure deal under the table.

Datu Sarip Agwak and his devilish scheme, he and his co-conspirators hatched the LPTRP sans public consultation, hurt not just the denizens of Toto’s Kingdom. Worse, he hurt his own people, he shot his own foot as commerce in other parts of the city slumped by 60 or even bigger percent at old downtown area, the Terminal Market and Jaro Market.

Datu Sarip Agwak killed the Lapuz-Yrong-Yrong route and the Mandurriao-Housing-Yrong-Yrong route. He hurt his own people and his people are up in arms.

The writing in the wall are now up for Datu Sarip Agwak and his co-conspirators in the YBC.
