Hiring Mi-so New York is politics, Datu Saripada Agwak

Yours truly can only gape at the political incantations of La Nuestra Señora de Patigayon and Datu Saripada Agwak branding the appointing of Mi-soo New York to the law faculty of West Vsayas State U “apolitical”.

These two titans of the dark political firmament of this blighted land of Yrong-Yrong, graciously pledge support to the SD card president who happens to be spouse of Mi-so New York.

Let’s move on, they sang in duet sweeping under the rug that what they have just done or spoken is a political act.

What? These twins has done a political act: they preach submission to denizens of their kingdom. They ask for meekness of their constituents enraged by the history of Filipinos in the hands of the family and cronies of the SD card president whose records of plunder and human rights crimes are confirmed in history let alone by court convictions in the country and the US.

Non-political Mi-so New York being admitted to the WVSU faculty to teach criminal law?

Datu Saripada Agwak and La Nuestra Señora merely twist their own tongues by forecasting a cornucopia of blessings flowing to Yrong-Yrong should Mi-so New York get what she wants. The duet can rub elbows with her and whisper to her to open the floodgates for more blessings, so they say.

Is that non-political?

The duo just refuse to realize their act of obeisance to the SD card president is political in its whole sense.

Dr. Tutti Capi.

There’s still one political actor who refuses to admit his act of slandering the school’s lofty call for excellence: none other than its capo di tutti capi.

Ignoring, forgetting the plunder and abuses done by the family of SD card president, particularly, that of his father who robbed and murdered his people, and faked his records as war hero — is political act.

Dr. Tutti Capi’s lofty act of ignoring history — like the punishment meted out by Filipino guerillas on the SD card’s granpa for being a Makapili in WWII — is political.

Distorting, spreading the disinformation that it’s the students themselves, not him, who decide to hire Mi-so New York to the WVSU law faculty is a political act that this Dr. Tutti Capi does.

If so, please show us records of students demanding her to join the law faculty.

“Politics” in its broad perspective, is the relationship of groups, classes, sectors, etc. vying for power. It’s the dynamics between the ruler and the ruled. Governance is politics. Resistance is politics. War is politics “by any other form.”

The ruling elite forming themselves at the core or revolving around  the peripheries of such groupings as Lakas-CMD, Team Unity, PDP-Laban, LP, NP are doing politics in its constricted form. Their competition, bloody or otherwise, for political positions during elections, is politics, also in its narrow definition.

Don’t preach to us it’s no politics. Welcoming a twig of a politically poisonous tree is politics for your guidance, Datu Saripada Agwak, La Nuestra Señora de Patigayon, and Dr. Tutti Capi.

Oh, just in case, why not invite to the roster of law professors of WVSU the likes of Neri Colmenares, Pilo Hilbay, Chel Diokno, Luke Espiritu?

It’s non-political, ain’t it?###
